Stefan R. Wolfe, Esquire

Stefan R. Wolfe, Esquire serves as a trial attorney for the United States Department of Justice (DOJ). Before joining DOJ, he was General Counsel for the National Commission on Military Aviation Safety and the Cyberspace Solarium Commission.  Mr. Wolfe  also served as an Associate Appellate Judge and Senior Appellate Judge. In that role, he was responsible for deciding the appeals of Army felony cases, interlocutory appeals, and extraordinary writs. He has issued over 100 written opinions.

Mr. Wolfe's previous experience also includes serving as a trial judge for the US Army, where he presided over criminal cases arising out of the Pacific Northwest, Alaska, and Hawaii. Prior to becoming a judge he served as the Deputy and Acting Chief Prosecutor for the Army.

Mr. Wolfe earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Military Academy, West Point. He earned his Juris Doctor from Rutgers School of Law and his Master of Laws degree in Military Law from the Judge Advocate General’s Legal Center and School.
